This assignment asked us to synthesize our group’s chosen issue and initial project concept with our process. I arranged the images of the garment workers and pollution in the shape of our installation to emphasize how the figure is meant to represent the exploitation of garment workers as well as how the industry contributes to climate change, and included names of the most harmful fast fashion brands in the green pile of clothes to show that they are the culprits. While these elements highlighted the concept, I also included process sketches, inspiration pictures, and an experimentation with material to show the process.
