We created models in order to explore different ways of executing aspects of our final installation. I focused on construction and materials, and thus explored different ways of stabilizing the figure as well as how to create the texture of the body. For construction, I looked at how the materials and added supports could hold the figure upright. For materials, I experimented with liquid latex and cotton balls for Models 1 and 3 and a mixture of liquid latex, cotton balls, and paper mache for Model 2.
